From the drudgery of everyday life to the destructive forces of addiction, war and hate, humans have a strange knack of not being very happy with their lot. Delusions of grandeur and superiority along with our innate drive to protect and replicate our ‘selves’(not forgetting greed, religion and economics) all play a part in the history of conflict and our imperative will to power. Each of these films explore certain aspects of our lives and how we are rarely ever satisfied.
